Kastilien-Leon
Kastilien und León (spanisch Castilla y León, asturisch Castiella y Llión) ist eine spanische Autonome Region.
Hauptstadt der Autonomen Region ist Valladolid.
Castilla y León umfasst die Provinzen
Ávila,
Burgos,
León, Palencia, Salamanca,
Segovia, Soria, Valladolid und Zamora.
Die Autonome Region umfasst eine Gesamtfläche von 94 223 km² und hat eine Einwohnerzahl von rund 2,5 Millionen (2002).
Die östliche Hälfte des Landes gehört zur historischen zentralspanischen Landschaft Kastilien und ist als Altkastilien bekannt, die Westhälfte bildet die Landschaft León.
